All my Pencils
Sharpened ;-)
If it had no pencil
Would it try mine—
Worn—now—and dull—sweet,
Writing much to thee.
If it had no word,
Would it make the Daisy,
Most as big as I was,
When it plucked me?

Seeing all of these pencil shavings takes me back to my childhood. The electric sharpener I have now doesn't produce such elegance. Lovely shot indeed.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of pencils, and a sharpener... somewhere in my drawers. I can't remember the last time I've used a pencil though.
