Summer solstice arrived Thursday with record highs,
but that same evening a cold front brought relieve.
A sea of clouds was still lolling about the day after
when I decided to get off the metro at Schönbrunn station
and take the long way home through Schönbrunn's gardens.
About midway through the park the sun broke through the clouds
casting her magic light, illuminating fountains and trees,
(Notice the small wooden ladder to the left, reaching from the fountain's rim
into the water? It's there for the ducks, to help the fowl reach the water.)

Wonderful colour tones, such verdant green and wild grey sky...no sign of a palace. Wonderful.
