View from the Upper Belvedere
On a stormy April afternoon
At the bottom of the gardens, the Lower Belvedere Palace,
the Inner City beyond, with the steeple of St. Stephen's cathedral,
and the hills and vineyards of the 19th District meeting the horizon

ReplyDeleteBelas fotos!
ReplyDeleteThe same Belvedere where the 'dame in gold' was hung all the years before it was returned to its heirs?
ReplyDeleteYes, Anne, that very same Belvedere.
Deleteno matter how grey, that is a lovely daily walk.
ReplyDeleteAnd the closest kaffeehaus is?
Best wishes for the weekend.
There's a kaffeehaus in the Upper Belvedere, the "Menagerie".
DeleteThe closest large one is the Schwarzenberg Cafe, at Schubertring.
Thank you for the good wishes and the best to you, too,
Merisi
