ReplyDeleteWished I could take you along, Sylvia!
DeleteThat tartlet looks quite tempting!
ReplyDeleteThe raspberries were divine! ;-)
DeleteLooks divine...beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteOk - I am coming over to your place. Looks soooo tempting.
ReplyDeleteYou would love it! :-)
DeleteJust lovely! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo! Makes me want to go there! (Right now!)

Thank you, Carol! :-)
Deletebeautiful and tasty still life! Hard to choose, but then I don't need to:)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)))
DeleteBeautiful! Elegant!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteGreat in B&W, but I still prefer the deep vibrant colours and timber texture of the colour version and that beautiful fading into darkness!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
Thank you!
DeleteThe effect of color versus black and white is quite interesting, isn't it?
Exquisite pictures with excellent light! I like both versions!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteThe black and white shot is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteBeautiful pictures, that's lovely light falling on the table
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteStunning! Elegant! The color shot is vibrant and wonderful and delicious - brings my focus to the food, the tastes. The black and white shot leaves me appreciating the elegance and care of the setting...the light and mood of the shot are so inviting. Thanks so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteThank you, love your comment!
DeleteReally like that second shot-lovely lighting and composition.
ReplyDeleteDid all the raspberry colored upholstery influence your tartlet choice in any way? Merisi, the lighting in the
ReplyDeletefirst photo is sublime and I'm sure the raspberries were too.
That's a good question!
DeleteHonestly, the subconscious mind did all the work. ;-)
In fact, I often notice only when I look at the picture later that somehow I have captured details that I was not necessarily aware of when pushing the shutter.
i knew better than to read this post on an empty coffee-less tummy .. but it was not just a tease for my tastebuds it was a feast for my eyes
ReplyDeleteThank you, fearless Daryl! :-)
DeleteJust perfect...
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteThe Viennese Coffee Mélange with raspberry tartlet looks absolutely divine! The photo could be in a magazine.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gail! :-)
DeleteTwo beautifully elegant images Merisi and one incroyably scrumptious looking tart :)

ReplyDeletethank you! :-)
DeleteMerisi, what a charming and cosy corner you've shown us. And the coffee and pastry has already been ordered. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI do like the black and white still life version. It has the quality of a mezzontint, a printing technique I once aspired to mastering.
(That political billboard in the previous post is a real attention getter. Will it gather votes, too?)
xo
P.S. Hoping you've been able to see those Park Ave. tulip pictures.
Dear Frances,
Deleteyes, I managed to head over to your blog and follow you an your walk! Thank you so much of thinking of me when the Park Avenue tulips are appearing for their glorious spring show!
You are amazing, mezzotints are such a difficult craft to learn.
Regarding the political poster: who knows? It may rally the troops for the election in the fall.
So calm and serene. Your B & W would make Edward Weston say well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim, for this magnanimous compliment!
DeleteI remember the lecture about Edward Weston's Pepper #30 as if it had happened yesterday (yes, I did my time in black and white film photography, even developing and printing).
I agree with Jim Egerton.
ReplyDeleteBut I also like the other two images.
A very nice posting.
Thank you, Gunn! :-)
DeleteWhat a lovely place...would love sit there with a cup of coffee!
ReplyDeleteWarm hug,
Titti
Who knows, one fine day? ;-)
DeleteOh, those wonderful upholstery fabrics! And a tempting raspberry tart. Yumm!
ReplyDeleteI love how the interior reflects traditional decor with just the right hint of modernity. It's all in all a very inviting place. The high ceilings and tall windows offer a view of the opera house across the street, glorious!
DeleteRaspberry tart, raspberry chair! What an elegant room!
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed!
DeleteHugs,
M.
Oh ! Yes !!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous pictures, I like the first one in colour. It has such a timeless quality and the warmth of the light make for a really wonderful picture...
ReplyDeleteThank you, Geoff! :-)
DeleteI definitely should have spent more time enjoying pastries and coffee in fabulous cafes while in Vienna, instead of roaming the streets like a typical tourist! Next time......
ReplyDeleteI always empathise with tourists who only have a few days to explore.
DeleteBeautiful photographs! Oh... how I wish I could be there!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And I am looking forward to the day you'll come visit!
DeleteBeutiful photographs and what a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, this is a beautiful place, indeed!

Hugs, M. xox
Raspberry tart, raspberry chairs! Love the color and B/W versions - stunning!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Amy! :-)
