Austrian Slow Food Festival at Stadtpark
Celebrating Austria's Culinary Heritage
Weekend of May 9 through 11

Slow Food from Austria
A fair filled with Austrian epicurian delights,
fun and wine and Lederhosen included

Food Samples
Offered by a grocery chain
that sells an assortment of organic
and regional foods -
the coddled eggs were gone in 2 seconds

Gingerbread Man
This smiling vendor offered to pose
with a pair of gingerbread lederhosen -
who am I to turn him down?

Uhudler Wine
Uniquely Austrian -
served well chilled,
an utter delight

A Glimpse
of the scene

More Uhudler
Frizzante,
the sparkling version
Yes, I liked that one too! ;-

Stadtpark Happy Hour
Having a good time!

Celebrating Austria's Culinary Heritage
No, it's not over yet, there are
two more days of epicurian delights left
to sample and buy Slow Food produced in Austria:
Sat 10 May 2014, 10:00 AM TO 9PM

  1. I take it that's bacon wrapping those coddled eggs? First time I've heard of coddled eggs...

What strikes me is the deep green of the vests.

  5. Oooh! We wish we were there today! I do love coddled eggs (actually eggs made nearly every way!). My husband is the wine connoisseur of the two of us, but you had my attention with the sparkling one!

Wishing you a lovely Sunday evening,

    Betty
