As I absolutely adore lemon meringue pie, I would love that tart!
ReplyDeleteAnd afterwards, setting sail .... ;-)
DeleteOh yes, Merisi. I would love to say yes to a cup of delicious coffee while on a boat sailing gracefully through beautiful shore scenery. I would also not decline any lemon meringue that might be offered.
ReplyDeleteThose photographs do capture splendid opportunities! xo
Thank you, Frances! :-)
DeleteThe first picture is such a great composition study. The diagonal of the gap in the boards. The forks in juxtaposition. The spoon at a slight angle to the gap. The two sugars parallel to the gap. And last but not least the cup and the tart in the same general direction of the gap. Oh my Merisi just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim! I work with what is presented to me, moving subjects ever so slightly, hopefully to their best advantage.

ReplyDeleteYou definitely would, a whole lot! :-)
DeleteThis post makes me fall in love with the pictures and the place even more! If I ever come to Vienna, I shall ping you to catch up for coffee :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about Vienna is the wide variety of restaurant offerings, from the traditional Viennese fare to food that has its origin in often faraway places, brought in by recent or not so recent immigrants and enlightened locals interested in other countries' cuisines.
DeleteIt seems that there are lots of bloggers that would love to join you for a visit to a cafe in your city! The lemon tart looks very inviting!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be fun have a CDP convention here in Vienna and explore to our heart's delight?
DeleteIt all looks and sounds amazing ... especially the lovely tart. Spring/Summer in Vienna is so beautiful .............
ReplyDeleteYes to all you said, and I hope you manage to return here soon!
