Well-Earned Break
There are at least half a dozen cafes around Yppen Square
and all were busy, to the last table, even chair


Tulips sang of spring


and patrons were spoilt for choice


Citrus fruits from the south and sunny reflections
off the shop windows lit up the shady side of the square


Late winter vegetables
competed with oranges from Sicily
