Beautiful statue but poor saint indeed. Barbara had a rough life and death.
ReplyDeleteMaybe those angels are just playing?
Funny, just last night a FB friend posted a Peanuts cartoon about whether Adam and Eve had belly buttons, and I asked her whether this was the new "How many angels ..." question.
This is funny:

Thank you, Dina, will follow the link! :-)
DeleteSt. Barbara looks quite dramatic. The angels are rather cute while quarreling!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you! :-)
DeleteWonderful statues!! Seeing ones like these in so many places in Europe was one of the things I enjoyed most about living in Europe! Thank you, as always, for sharing the beauty!!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! :-)
DeleteThanks so much for leaving a comment on my Coventry blog. It brings me here to see how you are getting on. I am not disappointed. Your photographs continue to be lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou are an angel! :-)
DeleteI feel bad about not making the rounds more frequently.
