Big Esther looks like someone you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of. Interesting collection.

ReplyDeleteIndeed!
DeleteHow delightful these photos are, Merisi - a very elegant hallowe'en, although not particularly Big Esther's derriere!
ReplyDeleteAs they say, in the eyes of the beholder! ;-)
DeleteIt's magnificent inside!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Have followed the link to the homepage?
DeleteI distinctly do NOT recall giving permission for someone to put a statue of me on their front steps! 8-)

Deletei love those blue steps!
ReplyDeleteOne of the many wondrous details!
DeleteWhat a fascinating place with so much to photograph. And a wonderful combination of colors. The entrance looks so enchanting with its welcoming golden-lit interior. Looks like Big Esther has changed her color too, from a few years ago (a la your previous post).
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right about Big Esther. During my first years in Vienna, I used to pass by the villa several times a week and very often, I stopped to admire the villa. It changes appearance with the light of day and the seasons, but always magnificent. I had not stopped by for several months, one fine day, Big Esther looked different. I rather liked her previous appearance.
DeleteBig Esther is amazing ...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Merisi for your and Godfrey's showing

ReplyDeleteI hardly know what to say about Big Esther -- but she reminds me of one of my characters -- Big Lavinia.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a house!
Love the back view of Big Esther, really nice balanced composition. You certainly know all the interesting places Merisi..
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful photos, I love the colours. There's the added bonus that Big Esther makes me feel quite trim!

ReplyDeleteSad to read of the death of Ernst Fuchs on 9 November, sad loss of a visionary and colourful artist.
