I noticed that too, William. The first flush of blooms seemed to be of a lighter color. Now they all come up again, in a more intense color. Some are even darker than the ones I photographed (I could not get to the darker ones because I only carried my 50mm lens).
As always, lovely shots of intense and interesting colour, so vivid against the dark gloom here of rain storms and thunder!. New park? Do not recognise the name or locality? Will have to hunt this area out on next trip.
You can take the D tram to the its end station at the new Central Railway Station, a stone's throw from the southern gate of the Belvedere. We are blessed with incredibly beautiful late summer days, I enjoy every moment of it. Hope the sun comes out in O, too!
The blue of those flowers in the last shot draw my eye.

DeleteI adore the golden evening light.
ReplyDeleteLate August evening light is immensely beautiful!
DeleteI do love that early evening light...and knowing that wildflowers can be found in Vienna, not just in the surrounding countryside. xo
ReplyDeleteThere are wide stretches of wildflowers in that park, which was only recently opened to the public. Brandnew still.
DeleteYour photos do bring the definite feel of evening in late summer.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Marilyn! I was a memorable beautiful evening.
