Karen, I am back in Vienna! It is was a breath-taking location, on a hill high above Lago Maggiore, with a view of the lake. I was the only hotel guest to swim early in the morning, same in the evening.
Side benefit, Rosemary! ;-) I was concentrating on placing the chair on the edge so it would catch the sun (which would have been too bright otherwise).
Ciao Merisi! You captured a lovely reflection. I wondered (till I read your comment above) who put that chair on that narrow ledge! Looks like you found a beautiful place for your time away, but I see you are back in Vienna now.
Wow, that blue is so bright! I remember there were several Dutchmen in the plane who were going to lake L. (Had been in Holland for 3 weeks, so I flew from Amsterdam) - Didn't know you were just a few hours away from where I was, in Tuscany (Lucca) to paint (I hardly did, lol!)
Oh how wonderful this blue reflection is! Is this where you are now? Looks like heaven.

Such a gorgeous way to begin a day, Merisi! Thanks for sharing the beauty!
ReplyDeleteThat chair looks precariously perched.
ReplyDeleteI was a bit concerned about falling off the perch, chair, camera, and all! ;-)
DeleteWow, that is lovely!
