Amazing pictures. I don't know why I'm still here and not in Vienna. Next year I'm going to leave earlier, in May and not in June. I'm leaving in 3 days....
ReplyDeleteLove the first image with the bicycle and the " Pfingstrosen". Beautiful snapshots of a different part of Vienna.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful mix of new and old- I love those chairs, a great photo too.

ReplyDeleteAh, I do love markets like this!! Beautiful, colorful photos as always, Merisi!! Hope you have a wonderful new week!!
ReplyDeleteYour first shot and yesterdays image are my kind of stylish Merisi, totally gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of markets also.. treasures to be found :)
ReplyDeleteSo viele herrliche Blumen auf dem Fahrrad sind total stilvoll!
ReplyDeleteYou've captured two of my favorite subjects to photograph--bicycles and chairs. Beautiful point-of-view and colors.
ReplyDeleteI didn't make it to this market, but I know I'll be back to Vienna (must save some things for next time!). It looks really lovely. Those stacks of chairs are very pleasing.
ReplyDeleteLoads of style, especially I the first I age

ReplyDeleteAll beautiful images, very nice the second shot!
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers on the bicycle and the chairs!
ReplyDeleteThank you all! :-)
DeleteLovely shots. I really like those stacked chairs.
ReplyDeleteWonderful series! My favourite shot is the piles of chairs.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jose'! ;-)
DeleteLooks like a wonderful place to spend some time. Really enjoyed Apricot and Cherry Row. What a bountiful harvest! Lovely, lovely images!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gail! :-)
DeleteAll of these photos have beautifully vivid colors. The apricot and cherries photo is terrific, as are all the others.
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons I go to the market early is the wonderful light. Later in the morning, it loses its crispiness. That's when I start shopping or/and drinking coffee. ;-)
DeleteGreat Shots Merisi. There are not many people around. Was it too early?
ReplyDeleteYes, it was too early. I love to get to the market before t gets busy. I'll have more pictures up, soon.
Deleteoh ... love these .. this morning as i walked to the office from the subway, i looked both way before crossing and noticed a line of big trucks several streets up - they reminded me of elephants - i thought oh poop, its Wednesday and a farmers market is setting up and i am late for a meeting .... sigh
ReplyDeleteThere are farmers markets during the week here, but I mostly go Saturday mornings.
DeleteThose flowers on that bike. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThey were quite eye-catching! :-)
DeleteI LOVE ALL THE COLOURS in this posting.
ReplyDeleteVitamins for a HAPPY new week.
Thank you, Gunn! :-)
Deleteoh i love every single one of these ... they all deserve framing!!!
ReplyDeleteThose chairs are just amazing! And the green bike . . . is it yours? How lovely to ride a green bike off to a farmers market and return home laden with delectable food and beautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm getting here late but wow, what a gorgeous series of photos! Your first shot should go on a tourist website, it's picture-perfect. And the chairs piled high are quite a find. No wonder it's your favorite part of town, it would be mine too! If I ever visit Viennna (I'm sure I will, eventually) I'll make sure I go there. I understand the market is on Saturday mornings?
