I was there, same day.and my pictures look so plain compared to these magnificent images. I love that glorious beam of Golden Hour light bathing the palace at sunset; wonderfully captures the warmth of the Schonbrunn colour.
Welcome to Vienna! This was right at sunset, when for half an hour or so the light was sublime, changing from various shades of gold to a crystalline amber and back from one minute to the next. It is almost always the light, and being there at the right moment.
Would also look lovely in black and white, especially the silhouette figures.
