-> Sachertorte @ Wikipedia:
"Sachertorte (German pronunciation: [ˈzaxɐˌtɔʁtə] ( listen)) is a specific type of chocolate cake, or torte, invented by Austrian Franz Sacher in 1832 for Prince Wenzel von Metternich in Vienna, Austria. It is one of the most famous Viennese culinary specialties."
The weather was so beautiful yesterday, and I was early for an appointment. I decided to get off the tram and meander along a few tram stops towards my destination. . This is what I caught walking by the Sacher hotel. I managed only one shot, before the waiter served the cakes to two ladies waiting to be served.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a nice waiter. :)
ReplyDeleteThe picture's grand, Merisi, full of beauty and grace. I am imagining that you and I are sitting at the table that is the waiter's destination. He has already served us the delicious coffee. I might have already taken a sip of water from the glass. The October sunlight casts a warmth on the scene, too.
