Coffee in Paris
One enchanted Evening

One enchanted Evening
After dinner coffee

La vie en rose
Outside the window

You are in Paris
Listening to French chansons

And then, a Viennese Streetcar
Wooshes by, startling you

You are back in Vienne
Even though, dream or no dream,
Vienna's not out to spoil your evening

  1. A rather different way to serve coffee, but I expect that is a better coffee than we see here.

    1. William,
in Italy, you can order your espresso in a glass, i.e. "caffé al vetro" - the one in the picture would be caffé al vetro schiumato (espresso topped with milk foam). I have heard that coffee in a glass cools down quicker than in a ceramic cup, which could be a reason it is ordered that way when you enjoy a quick coffee break right at the counter ("al banco") as Italians usually do.
