Those reflections are very cool
ReplyDeleteSome of the windows have still those beautiful, old glass panes, a sight to behold.
DeleteBeautiful images! I love that reflection in the last shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteMerisi, I am looking at your beautiful photographs with the golden light, but what's captured my attention is the image of that man wearing a short-sleeved shirt.
ReplyDeleteHow can it be possible that over here in NYC, I walked to MOMA today wearing layers under my down-filled coat with cashmere round my neck, lining my gloves and with one of my hand-knit fair isle hats on my head.
The calendar says spring. Your images show me that Vienna might already be celebrating. We have more snow forecast for tomorrow evening.
Isn't it odd? xo
I remember a visit to New York City around the first of April, and I was sitting in a corner cafe, perched on a barstool, looking out at Washington Square, when it suddenly began snowing. The snow started falling and covering the blooming daffodils and the magnolias. It was so cold, I wore a cashmere sweater under my winter coat and had to go buy proper bad weather shoes.
DeleteWe ought to be very grateful for the early start into spring this year!
I hope you get relief from all that snow soon and wishing you a beautiful spring, soon!
Wieder einmal wunderschöne Fotos! Die Spiegelung im Fenster ist wirklich toll!
ReplyDeleteLG Mary
Dankeschön! :-)
DeleteWonderful shots!
ReplyDeleteI look at your spring, and then I look behind me out the windows at the dusk... and I can still make out the snow piled everywhere.
Thank you! Looking through my archive, there are several images of snow in March, even April, here in Vienna. I hope the snow makes way for warmer temperatures in your part of the world and a beautiful spring!
DeleteLook at those people soaking up the sun..... They could be looking at delightful reflections, although there are only bars reflected in the windows of that building.
ReplyDeleteOh, they are looking at quite delightful sights either way, if they chose to open their eyes. Some of them were Viennese, if I am not wrong, they know how to live in the moment, methinks. ;-)
DeleteLooks like a glorious spring day! Pretty reflections!
ReplyDeleteIt was, Amy! And thank you for every single sweet comment you leave here,
Deletehugs,
Merisi
As a lover of Naples Yellow I'm in heaven !
ReplyDeleteYou need to come see Vienna soon! :-)
DeleteHow lovely to see everyone enjoying the sun :)
ReplyDeleteThese are people who live north of the border, so to speak. ;-)
DeleteAs a student in Vienna I often sat on that bench and had some wonderful talks with a friend who died so young.
ReplyDeleteIt brought back some dear memories of her. Thanks!
I am sorry to hear that, James!
