What you see and what you get
Viennese diversionary TacticsA Camel Hair Overcoat
or a Livio de Marchi sculpture?
A Viennese Mélange
or an Italian Cappuccino?
A Dream within a Dream
or Café Orlando di Castello?
A storefront
or an all too clever diversionary tactic
to distract you from
that little Chocolate "ménage à trois"
I had with my coffee?

Very nice..
ReplyDeleteYes, it was. No more. :-(
DeleteQuite a set of distractions! That dessert looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteSee, that was the cheerful air this place was filled with. The desserts now rest in pastry heaven. Drats!
DeleteDIVINE!
ReplyDeleteNevermore. Too bad.
DeleteWhere do I place my order?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, only in our dreams now. Sad, isn't it?
DeleteMakes us want to revisit Vienna!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that would have been a very good reason!
Deletejust lovely one of the reason I wish to visit are the fabulous cafes!
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed!
DeleteDo you mean it closed down? I hope not.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's gone, Only in our dreams can we go back and linger a bit more.
DeleteI really miss the place, its playfulness, the good coffee, the pastries, lunch hour there, the cheerful waiters.
There is a new cafe restaurant there now. From what I have heard, they have torn everything out, nothing of old remains. I have not yet had the heart to go there.
I remember when I found out my Mornings in Paris, favorite café in Portland Maine, was gone...I was so sad...I love those coffee & cream design artists!
