AUTUMN
The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.

That's a marvelous shot, Merisi, and so very tuned to this time of year.
ReplyDeleteStunning. Really.
ReplyDeleteYes, stunning photo. I like the poem, too!
ReplyDeleteGutes Foto! Da gibt's doch den großen Kinderspielplatz, wo sich hunderte Kinder und Eltern tummeln.
ReplyDeleteVery nice B&W. Ran across some of Edward Weston's B&W photos on TV. Who needs color when you can express the wonders of the world in shadow, light and form?
ReplyDeleteWow - this is stunning!
