from the thumbnail, I thought it is Turkish coffee. This pattern is traditional Turkish coffee cup design. I like the mural and birds as well. You captured all birds in one frame with serene scene .. have a nice weekend. feyza
Oh Merisi, I do love your Frederick views. I hope that some day you might have a migration a bit further north along the Atlantic coast. We'd be sure to find a fine cup of coffee somewhere. Promise.
Hi Merisi, Love your bird photography. I am wondering about the mallard picture. To me it looks like a wood duck with very distinct facial features but maybe mallards have that look in Europe? Enlighten me please. Google wood duck and see what I am talking about
A double espresso (love the cup by the way) would certainly give me enough energy to take off flying like those birds! I wonder, should I give it a try? I might never come back to earth if I did, so I'll just use my imagination. That mural is wonderful, speaking of imagination - I love the duck and his shadow.
Our backyard birds have dropped in numbers in the last few weeks. the migrants have either gone on or haven't started coming yet

Feyza,
Deleteit could have well been Turkish coffee! I honestly forgot which one I had had, too many coffees during my travels!
Best regards,
Merisi

ReplyDeleteJim,
Deleteit was not the smartest idea to call this poor duck by any other name, I am sure you are right! My apologies,
Merisi
