In the late afternoon
the sun finally broke through,
revealing a sky so beautiful
Tiepolo could have painted it
The leaves of the Linden trees and the rose bushes
sparkled in the late afternoon light
The Garden Pavilion's mullioned doors
were wide open, beckoning to come inside

Melk Abbey, an hour's drive west of Vienna

What a magnificent place. Thanks for showing the region around Vienna recently. It's very fun to explore.

You visit the most elegant, beautiful places. I can imagine a romantic novel taking place here. I'm back in India for four months after seven months in California helping take care of my lovely 15-month-old granddaughter.
