Fasten your Seatbelt
We are going to have Coffee in Venice

I know, I know,
this is supposed to be
a blog about Vienna

Still, here we are, fresh off the boat
at the Rialto fish market

looking for coffee
along a nearby Calle

As promised, we are now sipping real Italian coffee,
al banco - at the counter, as you are supposed to do
when you are in Venice

  2. Merisi, I count myself lucky to have sipped coffee in Venice. I love the bright red cup and saucer, and also remember standing at the counter as I did some of my sipping.

Long ago but the memories are vivid still.
