The photos are not worthy of the splendid view, but I wanted to share this place with you.
ReplyDeleteMake a reservation asap if you plan to come to Vienna soon, a mental note if you plan a later visit.
The view is out of this world. We watched the sun setting in the west, beyond the hills of the Vienna Woods, with "Violet" Spritzers and an assortment of exquisite appetizers.
Oh, it does look like an incredible place/view, Merisi!! Would love to enjoy a sunset from there!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to take you there, Sylvia!
DeleteWow. I could get lost in these. AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteI did! ;-)
DeleteGorgeous and dreamy, Merisi! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Delete(I was a bit hesitant to use these not so perfect pictures, shot through two thick layers of glass, but then I thought they still conway what a great view we had.)
Spectacular views, Merisi!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, William!
DeleteI would never have guessed that there was a skyscraper in Vienna! The views are magnificent!
ReplyDeleteThis is by far the tallest, so far, Amy.
DeleteThey are also going to have a rooftop terrace. Can't wait to get up there! ;-)
Was für ein toller Ausblick! Meine Tochter arbeitet in einem dieser hohen Gebäude im 22.
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüsse,
Ingrid
Unser kleines Manhattan! ;-)
DeleteWow, what incredible sunsets. Absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteSam
Truly gorgeous, and it was a perfect evening, any which way I look back at it.
Deletegorgeous...
ReplyDeleteand i bet the after dark photos would be lovely too. with the twinkling lights of the city.
oh please, do a post on after-dark-from-high-above photos, some time. how delightful that would be.
tessa~
My "twinkling light" pictures are worse than the sunset ones. I need to get back and try to do the view a bit more justice. I was honestly not prepared that evening, having had other plans originally.
DeleteThe view from a blue window!
ReplyDelete*smile*
DeleteMy friend Y shot some with his cell and those are truly spectacular.
What a lovely view.
ReplyDelete57th floor is so high.
My legs would be weak
with the thought of being so high.
The view would be worth it.
Marilyn,
DeleteI am rather chicken about heights, but riding up in an elevator in great company, I never even thought about that! The view is so gorgeous, the waitstaff at 57 bar so friendly, the drink and food so good, all I felt was utter pleasure. ;-)

Aha.
ReplyDeleteThat's a huge building. I think it opened while I was visiting this year. The view is amazing.
ReplyDeleteOh, the color!
