*giggles* I had a prof like that. I remember a chiaroscuro picture I was quite fond of, but he'd give me an earful because I had not cloned out a lamp that marred the scene. It's my philosophy that photographs should reflect reality. Overhead wires are such an ubiquitous part of that particular view. I was standing right there at the western entrance of Schönbrunn park when I noticed that otherworldly shimmering of the façade in the bright morning's glare. I toned down saturation to better reflect its bleached-out look.
fabulous .. if i took this my husband would tell me to clone out the wire, my reply would be unprintable!

Btw, from the upper floors, hotel guests enjoy a view of Schönbrunn's gardens, even the palace itself-
DeleteLana sometimes takes out the wires on nature photos, but generally tries to avoid 'em. Couldn't avoid 'em here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty light and white walls ...
ReplyDeleteHave a good day !!!
It's a beautiful hotel, Merisi. As is so often the case in Vienna, the attention to detail is remarkable!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect capture of the past and the present and lovely as always, Merisi!
