Oh yes, the graffiti! Recently there have been some arrests, one particularly active graffiti sprayer from Switzerland being the latest caught. I have read about a group from Hungary, another one from Russia. Must be some sort of addiction.
This is the Urania with its observatory tower, built by a student of Art Nouveau architect Otto Wagner. It sits where the Vienna River empties into Donaukanal and the First and Third District meet.
The channel certainly does have a springlike sensibility to it.
