Snowflakes mixed with rain until about 8:30, since then, rain, rain, rain. Good thing is I am busy with desk work anyway, after missing almost a week because of a mean flu attack.
Looks just like it did here in Portland two days ago!! But the snow is all gone now and at least for a little while it isn't raining!! Beautiful winter capture for the day, Merisi!! Hope your week is going well!
I've been following your blog for a while now and I must tell you that I love the pictures and the perspective. I lived in Germany as a child and the scenes are so familiar looking. I miss Europe. Thank you for the beauty.
It looks lovely from my perspective, but we have not suffered from all the massive storms that are wreaking so much havoc in much of the US and Europe it seems.
Quite worrisome what people in large parts of the USA and Great Britain are going through, one bad storm after the other. Vienna's been spared so far this winter, but Austria's south has been hot by severe snow storms lately.
A lovely perspective, Merisi. For us, that's been an every day sort of thing, but since I love winter to begin with, I'm quite pleased to see lots of snow.
Pretty. On my side of Döbling it is nothing but rain. Not so pretty.

Both of us are recovering from a mean flu here this week, too, though I don't suppose there is a "nice" flu, is there? :)
DeleteLooks similar to what is here.... today.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was like spring.
Thunder and a new STORM on it´s way just now. Keep warm:)
Funny thing is, there are Green Woodpeckers out there, singing their hearts out early in the morning, as if it were spring already. ;-)
DeleteBeautiful capture of the snow/rain...
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteF/2.8 did the trick. ;-)
Yes, that's what it was like today. This place, it is not very far from Café Dommayer, no?
ReplyDeleteWalking distance. ;-)

ReplyDeleteThank you and may the rain stay away from your shores! ;-)

It looks gorgeous but be careful!!!
ReplyDeleteLuckily, the snow petered out, gave way to rain soon after I shot this picture.
DeleteI admit I enjoyed the prettiness of it quite a bit (knowing had to stay at my desk helped, too).

ReplyDeleteI love real winter, too, William, white one and blue skies.
