  1. Merisi, your photos bring back memories from vacances en France.
What is your opinion on the atmosphere? I wonder because there are no windows that face a street or courtyard. Slightly claustrophobic or not at all?

    1. I was there early one evening, and we were sitting upstairs. I really loved the atmosphere and am looking forward to go back! Very friendly waitstaff, and the fish soup was excellent, too. The pastries look oh so good, but I have not had a chance to indulge. Yet. ;-)

Usually, when I get to have dinner like here, I have only had a late breakfast and skipped lunch. ;-)

  4. Oh Merisi, how delicious that fish soup must have been. I smiled at the little Riess pot, since I had just prepared my own breakfast oatmeal in a beautiful Riess porridge pot. I actually won a set of enamelware in a recent giveaway from the yvestown blog. Wow!

    Small world. xo

    1. Aren't they fantastic, the Riess pots? A great-aunt left me her small lasagne - roasting pan. Must be half a century old, but the enamail is still as easy to clean as ever, a soak in cold water overnight, incredible quality. I am very happy the company is still producing in Austria and by all appearances successfully so.

  5. Dear Merisi, you are still sharing lovely photos of your Vienna, with the world. I'm so happy to see this.

Years ago, I followed your beautiful blog, from the US. And then, I got lost along the way. I finally remembered Daily City Photos. And I remembered you. And you are still here.

Thank you for still being here. Thank you for still sharing your fantastic city. Thank you for being you.

    Gentle hugs,
    Tessa~

I love to photograph food, in its natural environment, so to speak.
