Vienna from the Upper Belvedere
Triptych of a Moody December Day


View from the Upper Belvedere
Even though it was a dark, grey day,


I decided to take a walk in the gardens
between Prince Eugen's palaces


As soon as I walked through the garden gate,
the dark clouds and fog parted, and I enjoyed
a splendid view of the city from the Upper Belvedere Palace

    The light is so much more effective contracted between the dark clouds and the earth. Beautiful views indeed.

    I lpove this park, and the view down towards the city. A 2 pipe walk, with lots of stopping to enjoy the aspect. No snow yet?
