Bricks behind a Window
Rather sad looking façade
in a hidden away courtyard
A November rose bud,
under the window -
someone lovingly tending to flowers,
I also noticed traces of summer's tomato crop
Tram #1
Streetcar, swooshing by,
leaving a ribbon of red behind,
on this grey November day in Vienna
Photographed in Wieden,
Vienna's 4th District,
at lunchtime, 19 November 2013

Such lovely photos - a little sad and autumnal.
ReplyDeleteWarm greetings from New York!
Thank you, Elizabeth! xxx
DeleteOh my word! Look at that amazing rose bud!!
ReplyDeleteVery brave, isn't it? ;-)
DeleteI could take the tram and sleep my way to work. If we had such a device here.
ReplyDeleteI have done that, sleep on the tram, past midnight, after a concert.
DeleteGot out when I realised I was way beyond my tram stop. Could not find a stop going in the other direction, so I had to walk in high heels for about 2 miles to get home.
It's always wonderful to be able to find some color on gray, autumn days! These are a great example, Merisi! Hope your week is going well!
ReplyDeleteThank you, hope everything's all right and not as grey in your neighborhood! ;-)
DeleteThis a very good post, well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
