    1. Thank you, Gunn! :-)
For some reason, the first picture is way more brilliant on my screen - no idea why it looks different on the web.

  2. As you have guessed, I have been away the past two weeks.
I would like to thank all of you who kept visiting nonetheless, looking at my reposts.
A special thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for leaving comments!
I hope to get back to all of you in the course of the coming week. Right now I am trying to tidy up the contents of my suitcases and other stuff - among other things, olive oil from this year's crop, Black Gallo wine from Chianti - I brought back from Italy. I am only just beginning to sort through the thousands of photographs I took every day.
Looking forward to seeing you, here, there, and everywhere!
    Cheers, Merisi

  6. Beautiful images Merisi, as always!

Yes, as I have also been traveling recently, I did guess from your posts that you also might have packed a case...and I do so hope, taken your camera with you.

  8. It is cachi in Italian, as you probably know, and an infinite object of wordplay...
