I was sort of down on the pavement, taking aim at the bike, when the dog whisked by. ;-) Autumn greetings to you, too, Elizabeth! Hoping to get one more time to see Linda McCarthy's pictures before they leave town.
Of course I love the dog ;). When we travel out West, we sometimes see Elk antler chandeliers, and even saw a Christmas tree made out of them last year. The one that you shared, is really pretty~
I remember finding a small deer antler, bleached like the chandelier's,on an outing in the woods with my father. I hadn't thought of it since when I was a child, until I spotted that chandelier.
Oh, Clayton Theodore would love the chandelier! When we lived in the US I would request polished elk antlers for him to gnaw from a friend in Wyoming; I'm certain he would be delighted to have so many chewies dangling above him here. :)
love love love that chandelier!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's gorgeous!
DeleteI am sort of taking measurements every time I walk by - will my ceiling be high enough??? ;-)
Dog looks a bit like Buster. Fall greetings, dear Merisi!

Merisi, I also love the antlers, but that dog's tail immediately reminded me of my friend Buster. Elizabeth said it before me!

DeleteIncredible chandelier! Cute pooch! (Psssst... come by my blog, I've got a photo post I think you'll like!)
ReplyDeleteSee you soon! ;-)
DeleteThe self-portrait, accidental or not, is very funny!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea my reflection was in there until I resized the picture. Took me a while to figure out how I was holding the camera. ;-)
DeleteNice. I love them both.
ReplyDeleteLiebe Merisi, der Leuchter sieht ja spannend aus!
ReplyDeleteAlles Liebe, Traude
Ja, würde ihn nicht ungern in mein Schloß hängen! *giggles*
DeleteI'm not really into antlers but that chandelier looks quite exotic.
ReplyDeleteLove your "I am not really into antlers"! ;-)

ReplyDeleteThat's quite a light fitting!
ReplyDeleteThat antler chandelier would be perfect in our living room. But I can't imagine having to dust it. Oh, well, never mind.
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a unique light fixture!! Terrific captures! Love the street scene! Hope you're enjoying your weekend, Merisi!!

ReplyDeleteThe chandelier is pretty cool but I don't want to think of how many beautiful animals had to die to make it.
ReplyDeleteStags shed their antlers every winter. The antlers simply fall off.
