Into the Blue Hour
Viennese Moments

Thin cottony layers of clouds
gathering for Evensong

against a sky
of the palest hues

ringing in
the Blue Hour

Riemergasse past the Church of St Jerome
at Franziskanerplatz, and on to Neuer Markt

  9. Merisi, such a filmy ephemeral combination of blues, with perhaps a whisper of pink could only be caught by fine photographer like you. Other folks would have the option of just stopping in their early evening actions, taking a long pause to just gaze upwards and marvel.

    Lovely! xo

  11. Hello Merisi, I am enjoying your larger format photos. And your wonderful words seem just right for these photos. The "thin cottony layers of clouds" has a lovely ring to it, and that they are gathering for Evensong makes it even lovelier.
