    1. Thank you, Anne! :-)
I was not expecting to taking any "panorama" views, but then I could not resist, on the undulating boat, to at least try. Amazing, how much a simple 50mm standard lens can capture, isn't it?

    2. I was thinking of you, intensely so, yesterday, another 11th of September (and my youngest had booked a flight to New York, arriving yesterday, which made me feel a bit queasy).

  3. The water looks a little rough but you've captured the scene beautifully. I saw the same view some years ago as if in a dream. It would be a dream to return to Venice once more.

  5. Vaporetto? Doesn't really sound like a boat, but I'm guessing that is what it is.

  7. I want to take in these views and use my long lens and try and sneak inside these buildings and find out what is happening beyond the lovely gentle sea~

    1. I was surprised that the pictures come out like this, the boat ride was rather choppy. ;-)

I love Venice best from the water, going out to the islands in the Laguna.
