K., melting city? I am scared to look! *giggles* By 9 AM I had been shooting for two hours when the sun started to reach the location: I felt as if someone had opened the door and let in Sahara air! Luckily, I am at my desk in an old, properly built and ventilated building. A great blessing! Bartolotti in the evening would be nice. ;-)
and we are having record cool and wet here...where normally we have been in the triple digits for weeks we have only broken the 80's three times...scary Sandi
My mind's a bit fogged up, but it seems to me we are under the heat for two months now. Maybe we get a bit of relief tomorrow, down to 88 from 104F ;-) Otherwise, I'll send you a dozen degrees or so! ;-)
Wow...BBC is reporting Vienna @ 41 C today. I am surprised that everything is still standing and not melted yet !
ReplyDeleteOh to sit in the shade on mariahilferstrasse and to enjoy ice cream @ Bartolotti.
Keep cool merisi.

We, on the other hand, are charmingly cool this morning in the North Carolina mountains. Hint of autumn in the air...
ReplyDeleteLovely thought, Vicki! xxx

ReplyDeleteSandi
Sandi, you are kidding, aren't you?
DeleteMerisi, it seems as if you've now got a variation of the heat that clung to NYC for almost two weeks in July.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a relief when that sort of weather front finally moves on. Your front will move. But when?
xo

DeleteThat IS hot! Keep cool.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. I won't complain, except for the fact there is no sitting on a porch and sipping mint julep in the evening (hello, friends!).
DeleteIt does sound hot, Merisi!! We're getting a little break in the heat, although our heat is rarely that bad! Have a great weekend! Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteFeels hot, too. ;-)
DeleteA great weekend to you also,
Merisi
