So glad you have shady places to escape the heat!! Wonderful captures for the day as always, Merisi!! Hope you get a break from the heat soon!!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow, the forecast calls for "only" 31° C (88° Fahrenheit instead of today's 104° F or 40° C) - I hope so, for all those who are truly suffering under this heatwave.
DeleteWe're beating the heat here by just hanging out inside.
ReplyDeleteAC, I suppose? ;-)
DeleteThe dappled shade is a lovely place to sit - we have a shady cool part of our garden where we can escape the heat of the day.
ReplyDeleteI love all the leafy shadows...
ReplyDeleteAnd that Viennese soda citron without soda!
Looks like a lovely place to cool off, especially with the Viennese Soda Citron!
ReplyDeleteAh, it looks like everyone's staying cool in style and shade, with amazing food! What can be better? I must try a Viennese Soda Citron:)
ReplyDeleteLooking again...these scenes are like impressionist painting...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous
What lovely shady trees - they make such a restful atmosphere!
ReplyDeleteHow different from the elegance of a century ago but so much cooler. Lovely shots as ever with cooling dappled shade.
ReplyDeleteI am a bit jealous of the weather in Vienna. It's 16C in Haninge and a very grey sky.
ReplyDeleteGreat streetphotos. I do like it warm, enjoy the weather!
ReplyDeletethank you so much for vising my blog. I love your post. I felt like I was right there with you..
ReplyDeleteLooks just right for coping with the heath ....
ReplyDeleteThe lemon drink and the shade.
I've just read about the record heat you're having in Europe. Are the cafés serving iced coffees this summer? We here in Minnesota, on the other hand, are experiencing extremely chilly weather for August. I like it, but my tomatoes do not!
ReplyDeleteLove these places! I wish I could to be there...
ReplyDeleteThe water and fresh lemon juice is presented so simply and is beautiful. Everything about Vienna seems elegant to me. Glad you're finding ways to stay cool!
ReplyDeleteThe shade is certainly a welcome spot in those photos!
