Gustav Klimt's Neighborhood
I spied his Ghost!

August's Roses burning bright
in the early morning light

Elderberries,
for the birds?

Almost Gogolian scene, billboard leaning
against fence, cheeky weeds pushing to the fore

More weeds in residence,
unperturbed by Klimt next door

And then, right there,
I spied Klimt's ghost!

Photographed this morning
in Klimt's neighborhood
I spied the ghost in the window
of the building were Gustav Klimt's
last studio was located, at Feldmühlgasse 11
13th District, Hietzing

  4. A little spooky there, Ms Merisi. As a Klimt fan, I would love to think that you did spy with your fabulous eye, the ghost of that fine artist.

I know for sure that you have shared some very poetic images with us.
