Oh, now I know why there are all those lonesome dogs on metro trains around lunchtime! ;-)
(Kidding aside, I hasten to add that I would bet my straw Fedora that you won't find any hungry dogs here in Vienna. Viennese love and care fore their dogs in an exemplary way, from what I have observed.)
Add to that the tree-lined square (more of a long triangle actually), paved with quarried granite setts (in the Belgian manner, set like cobblestones), and it is a perfect setting, isn't it?
Ah, the doggies seem to be the topic for the day! Fun shot, Merisi! Hope your week is going well!
ReplyDeleteWhen all the dining moves outdoors, dogs are on parade here in Vienna! ;-)
DeleteI LOVE Jack Russells…SOMEDAY :)
ReplyDeleteI imagine that would be a perfect fit, out in your beautiful countryside. He'd never get bored!
DeleteI just have to convice the Sheepfarmer :/
DeleteCute dog. Looks like he's very playful.
ReplyDeleteAnd he was very well behaved!
DeleteAny commuter dogs there. I've heard of dogs taking the trains from the outskirts into the interiors to find food.

cute dog ... but lets talk about the chairs! I have two in blue but I love that sunny yellow cafe chair!
ReplyDeleteYou can see more of the yellow chairs in this post, with pictures taken from next door's Café Ansari.
DeleteWhat a sweet dog! I love the yellow chair, too!

DeleteGone to fetch some coffee and Sacher tort?
ReplyDeleteHe's leading the way, definitely! ;-)
DeleteVery cool! Love the dog AND the chair.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :-)
DeleteA very cool dog passing a very cool yellow chair!
ReplyDelete*smile*
DeleteHe was clearly on his way to somewhere important! Maybe he has a friend at a nearby butcher or sausage shop?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these shots! They are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI see there's a Linda McCartney show in Vienna. I hope you see/saw it. I have her book of photos from way back when (when Paul was cute). :)
Oh yes, I have seen the show, and will go there again!
DeleteI can assure you that Paul is still a good looker. ;-)
Love the dog! :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet as can be, and the owners just as sweet. ;-)
DeleteCute. Fun pics and post.
