Prince Eugene's Schloss Hof
Viennese Escapes

In the Gardens
of Prince Eugene of Savoy's
country estate, Schloss Hof

On the horizon
beckons another country, Slovakia

A plum orchard
alongside the main building

I spied many a plum whispering
"I'll soon be ripe and ready!"

A walk through the gardens
of Prince Eugene's country estate
means experiencing summer at its very best,
as if entering a dream and sailing on clouds

  2. Merisi, what joy to see those blue sky views again, and to know that perhaps the way that I have been following your posts is still operational.

    Happy July! xo

  3. Ah, you not only live in a beautiful city, you are a short drive from beautiful outlying areas too! Thanks for the blue skies!

  4. Our skies looked a lot like that today. Achingly blue with big puffs of cloud.

  7. That first one made me think of Maxfield Parrish. You just need a nymph or two in filmy draperies, leaning over the balustrade (if that's the right word.)

Blue skies, statues plus bubbling fountains
    Great minds...bal bla
