What a lovely carousel!
ReplyDeleteIt is antique, but recently restored, all state of the art.
DeleteI have been twice in Vienna and I still have memories of many great things: buildings, art collections, monuments and also views. I had also much fun at the Prater fairground, but the thing I can't really forget is my outrageous diet of excellent wurstel all around town...
ReplyDeleteI'll try to get some shots of Würstelbuden, so your memories linger a bit longer still. ;-)
DeleteThings are looking very summery and colorful in Vienna. That carousel would be fun to ride.
ReplyDeleteI am too scared to ride it myself, but love to watch! ;-)
DeleteI love the swing ride!!! Always one of my favorites at the amusement park. It's so relaxing, and the breeze cools your legs.
ReplyDeleteI agree, loved riding the carousel when I was a child. ;-)
DeleteFun. I want some of that salad.
ReplyDeleteIt was very good! ;-) Spicy, too.
DeleteI love Thai food. I love your colorful summery Vienna and the sent of the lime-tree. I need going to Vienna...
ReplyDeleteI hope it will be soon!
DeleteLovely midsummer scenes! The second shot is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to be had, even if only people watching. ;-)
DeleteIt all sounds like fun! I'd like to try the green papaya salad!
ReplyDeleteLots of fun, indeed! Green papaya salad and summer rolls, all I'd need to survive summer. ;-)
DeleteMerisi, all those colors send a summer message. How good that the traditional carousel has been restored and is again whirling around.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the looks of that salad. Summer and salad make great partners!
xo
So much COLOR!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
Love this magnificent series of images of Prater Fairgrounds, brings me wonderful memories when I visit in June 2010!
ReplyDeleteOnly in Vienna would you find such an elegant carousel.
