The Parliament Reader
Morning in the City

I was walking
early this morning

towards the First District,
when I spotted this reader,

sitting among Corinthian pillars
in the vestibule of
the Austrian Parliament building
Ringstrasse

  2. Neat shots -- in the last one, looks like he would like to commune with the statuary. How nice to be able to walk past such a building! Oops -- those are corinthian columns, not ionic.

not so uncommon yet here in Vienna. In fact, I see people reading books all the time.

I thought that such a sumptuous decor would have crushed the reader but it rather enhances him ... as our eye zooms in on him ... Amazing !
I LOVE that series of shots !
