I melt the chocolate on a plate in a 200°F oven, just below 100°C - simple and never burns the chocolate

  1. Blogging had to take a backseat yesterday. I thought I share what I did instead of blogging. I made two pans of brownies. The ones I photographed ended up on the floor. The "tower" I had built to put the brownies into better light proved to be too wobbly. ;-) I know why I am not a food blogger! ;-)

  7. These look so yummy, Merisi! I LOVE peanut butter brownies!!! And, you know, I started melting chocolate by putting it in the oven in a Pyrex, Arcoroc or other heatproof glass dish as it warms for a few minutes with the same great results! If I'm using the toaster oven, I just leave the dish on top of there and it works the same!
