A repost, again. I need every minute of the day to finish a project.
ReplyDeleteI have tons of pictures and ideas for new posts, alas, time is what I have a hard time finding right now.
I hope you enjoy to have another cup of coffee in this sun-drenched place.
Cheers and a wonderful day to all of you,
Merisi
So thrilling to think I'll see it in person before too very long!
ReplyDeleteI will now go back and study lots and lots of your blog posts to make plans to see (almost!)
EVERYTHING
Thrilled also this side of the ocean! :-)
DeleteWonderful captures and memories for me today, Merisi! My late husband was a member of the Modern Pentathlon Team here in the states and horseback riding was one of the events. When they traveled to Europe for competition at one time he was able to visit The Spanish Riding School and see the Lipizzaner horses!! He was so thrilled to see them and brought back wonderful pictures. Thanks for these! Hope your week is going well!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful memories, Sylvia!
DeleteBig hug,
Merisi
That last flower is incredibly orange!
ReplyDeleteNever seen an orange peony before!
DeleteThe shadow of the flowers on the tablecloth.... MAGIC.
ReplyDeleteIncredible cravings here for bright sunlit days!
DeleteUn blanc pur, de toute beauté...
ReplyDelete"Là, tout n’est qu’ordre et beauté,
DeleteLuxe, calme et volupté."
To say it with Baudelaire's words! ;-)
I like your every shot of the scenes from The Spanish Riding Café, especially the third one with shadows, reflection, and glinting. Thanks for your visit.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Japan

Thank you, Yoko,
Deleteand so pleased to see you here!
Cheers,
Merisi
Your blog is lovely with your pictures of your life in Vienna. Sadly I have never been there, although I have visited Austria many times as a child. It's lovely to explore the city through your eyes. It must be wonderful seeing the Lippizzan horses exercising.

Thank you, Sarah!
DeleteI hope you are going to come and see it all for yourself one day,
Merisi
