Gustav Klimt's Neighborhood
Vienna in Winter

A brilliant winter day
in Gustav Klimt's neighborhood

The house I photographed
through summer and fall

still the same sleeping beauty,
thank heavens

Klimt's paintbox, safe,
though another season

Photographed 22 January around Noon

  1. Beautiful captures of sunlight and snow!! Our temperatures here are probably warmer than yours, but it is so gray and foggy I don't think anyone notices!! Chill to the bone! Hope your week is going well, Merisi! Enjoy!!

  2. Merisi, it's grand to see another season is treating this neighborhood so well.

There's a clear blue sky here in New York, but around midday, a bit of breeze is making it seem even colder that the official 19 degrees F. Brrrrr!
