Love the sparrow!
ReplyDeleteSweet fellow, isn't he?
DeleteI like being at an outdoor eating place and see the birds hopping around looking for tidbits.
ReplyDeleteQuartermaine has a counter right in front of a large window, where you can sip your coffee and watch the birds and other passersby. My favorite spot in my old hometown.
DeleteLooks good to me!!
ReplyDelete*smile*
DeleteI enjoyed every moment!
Love the first photo - these ladies know how to wear mocha and latte and coordinate nicely with coffee coloured surroundings.
ReplyDeleteI almost missed them: I was riding down the escalator from Williams Sonoma when I spotted them. I managed to pull out my camera just in time. ;-)
DeleteThese are terrific! So peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI want to throw that sparrow some crumbs.
Me too!:-)
Deletevery pretty...
ReplyDeletebut no saucer, ahem
Off with their heads!
And let them eat brioche!!
*giggles*
DeleteThey do have china cups! ;-)
Quartermaine has an interesting history, it was founded by one of the original Starbucks owners, Jerry Baldwin. Their coffee tastes way better than Starbucks, though. And it always liked the atmosphere there, one of my favorite hangouts way back, before Bethesda Row went all upscale (no misunderstanding: it is still as nice and vibrant as ever).
