    When I was a kid we used to take ripe persimmons, hollow out a hole and insert a firecracker. Then you'd light the firecracker and throw it. Lots of goo when it blew up.

    Lovely photos! (As always) I am heading to Italy at the end of November! I can't wait!
    No tuscany but Rome, Umbria (Assisi) and Genova. One of these days I need to get to Vienna though. You have inspired me!
