  2. Have to giggle at the styrofoam cup -- a far cry from the elegant cafes of Vienna!

    1. That is a really nice place, though the cappuccino was so cloyingly sweet, I could only sip a few times (it came out of a machine, all ready to go). The donuts were very good. I ate one, the other one is still rolling around in the car.

    1. Come on, this place survives on volume - can't imagine how they'd do real china cups.

  6. I must admit that Apple donuts do not sound appetising to me.

  7. Makes me nostalgic for Canadian Tim Horton's or Timmies as it is lovingly called in the big white North.

  8. Merisi, I am so happy to see those apple doughnuts. One of my guilty pleasures is taking home some apple cider doughnuts from one of the Union Square Farmers Market stands.

They are delicious! Without family members to share these gems, I buy the smallest pack of three doughnuts, and try not to eat them all before sunset.
