Roter Berg
One of my favourite spots of Roter Berg:
Over these meadows, if you are lucky,
you can observe a good dozen of larks rising
and listen to their song - it's mesmerising
Dear Readers, I am sorry for the missing line breaks after the video. I have no idea why all of a sudden pressing "enter" does not leave a line break. I even tried to manually insert the breaks. They would disappear. I hope to sort it out later. Right now, I must leave. A wonderful weekend to all of you, Merisi
Your beautiful photographs, along with the Williams (the solo violin is hauntingly lovely) and Meredith's poem are mesmerizing this morning. (My dog was rescued, but we are guessing her to be a Pug/Chihuahua mix.)
Hearing the larks rising is a delight I've not yet experienced, except in one or two of Elizabeth Goudge's novels. She loved them and wrote about this more than a few times.
My picture was taken in winter! In fact it was taken about two weeks ago in northern Queensland. (And if the picture was up side down the cows would be falling off the fields!)
Love to walk that trail.
ReplyDeleteOne can follow several paths from there, all are beautiful and offer great vistas of the city.

Sunflowers and bikes are so photogenic. It's nice to get out of the city from time to time, even if one lives in Vienna. Happy weekend, Merisi.
ReplyDeleteThis is IN the city! I can walk there in 10 minutes. ;-)
