Turkish Coffee
and a sinfully good
chocolate mousse tarte
that comes as close to
Mississippi mud pie
as you'll ever get
this side of the Atlantic -
that, plus the expectation of
Cardamom flavoured Turkish coffee,
was enough to make me forget to focus
Note to myself: next time, set the camera on "automatic"

Before you think I am the Queen of Gluttony, please note that I shared this delight with my friend (not the coffee, though, she had to order her own, and loved it just as much as I do). Before that, we shared a perfectly healthy Falafel pita bread sandwich. ;-)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful day to all of you,
Merisi
It looks like heaven! I will have to try it. Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteFocus, Schmocus.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous! Love the color and the light.

I could reach out and enjoy a little of the chocolate mousse tarte on that pretty table. The falafel sandwich sounds delicious, too.
ReplyDeleteI think I might have a chocolate autofocus in the visual cortex of my brain, because I focused on that cake right away, no problem :-).
ReplyDeleteI am afraid my visual cortex is at least a bar of chocolate too overloaded to be any good in this kind of situations. ;-)
DeleteOh how I want a slice of that tart, oh my does that look delisch and probably would take up most of my calories for the day, but then again... Oh and I want that little copper looking server thingy, how sweet is that~
ReplyDeleteThe copper pots are available all over Vienna, people from all over like coffee made the Turkish way (or Greek, depending on who makes it). A friend from Croatia prefers her coffee made like that, too. I am quite fond of it also. ;-)
DeleteMississippi mud pie - dare I say what a surprise in Vienna. Looks delish.
ReplyDeleteSam
Sam, the moment I spied that pie behind the counter, Mississippi mud pie was what my brain kept calling. ;-)
DeleteI like the softer focus, Merisi, and also the collection of circular items on that circular tabletop. (Have the Olympic circles intered your subconscious?) Ha ha! xo
ReplyDeleteThe sublime ways our subconscious works, who knows? ;-)
DeleteLooks delicious, Merisi!
ReplyDeleteIt was, indeed! And if I had not shared it with my friend, I would have had no qualms about eating it all. ;-)
Deleteentered, entered...why do I click so quickly?

*smile*
DeleteI like the way the shaped type is like a coffee cup!
ReplyDeleteBrill
May I have a translation, please? Can't figure out the "shaped type"! ;-)
Deleteon second thought maybe it's more like my hips post-Paris...
ReplyDeleteNow you are talking!
DeleteWhaaat, really? I don't believe it, after all you are only painting all those pastries, aren't you? ;-)
