Dear Merisi, I beg to defer, all these are moments of GREAT importance: reading old books that might lead you to London or Paris, buying beautiful flowers for someone special or even for yourself, listening to Chopin, carefully selecting an outfit for a special occasion, waiting for guests.
ReplyDelete;-) I know you meant it with tongue in cheek.
Of course this was meant tongue in cheek! ;-)
DeleteThe fabric of life is woven of little things and moments, isn't it?
Life is indeed woven of the little moments and little things and I do love your captures for the day, Merisi! They bring lovely memories of the years I lived in Europe! Hope your weekend is going well!
ReplyDeleteI just love your little moments. they are so beautifully captured.
ReplyDeleteWish my mind thought of things like yours does.

ReplyDeletegorgeous :)
A lovely melange, and so colourful to my eyes accustomed to the grey skies we've had for so long.
ReplyDeleteLike a sweet little pattern, leading to my soul, from the old travel books, to the woman carrying fresh cut flowers, the empty chair..I do believe that I see my name written on one...I can dream! Lovely shares as always Merisi. Have a beautiful evening and a beautiful week~
ReplyDeleteA beautiful succession of moments. Love the bold colours of summer!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely glimpses.
ReplyDeleteLoved the Baedeckers --something one always read about in EM Forster novels!
I have a card sentiment that reads "We don't remember days, we remember moments". You capture moments just beautifully! Bella B!
ReplyDeleteI'll take the dress at the top of the pyramid, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThose old Guidebooks make me think of a more adventurous world, when everything wasn't known.
ReplyDeleteYour moments in time do bring a peaceful smile onto my lips of a gentler world one sometimes forgets is still there . . .
ReplyDeleteThank you all very much for your kind comments!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful week to all of you,
Merisi
