Absolutely glorious! What an amazing hike that must have been! It's over 90f here today and just looking at these photos makes me feel cool and refreshed....
Carol, there is certainly more snow - and glare - than in Paris, sorry! ;-) I have used the same type color for more than a month now, but changed it to black now.
Yeah, the bird already has his coffee. A little further down the mountain.
ReplyDeleteEarly Java Bird! ;-)
Delete:) Um yeah... I mean no... You're not going to find it up there...
ReplyDeleteWanna bet? ;-)
DeleteFrozen frappuccino Alpino?
ReplyDeleteIf Starbucks were up there, I bet they would offer one! ;-)
DeleteHmm...coffee? Might I suggest a Thermos?
ReplyDeleteThermos? Too lazy for that! ;-)

How 'bout frozen coffee slush?
DeleteGet well soon!
That is very high! The blue sky and white snow make for a wonderful contrast in your photos.
ReplyDeleteThe light and glare are such up there that without dark glasses and a hat you'd go blind. The sky was even deeper blue, as if one were in outer space.
DeleteI'm speechless! What an experience! And yes, I sincerely hope you had a thermos :))
ReplyDeleteNext time, I'll take you up there, into thin air! ;-)
Deletelooks a fantastic walk, and an alpine cough as well!
ReplyDeleteSimon, you'd love it! xxx
DeleteWhat in the world are you doing up there, Merisi, aside from taking wonderful pictures...
ReplyDeleteWhat with temperatures in the 90s, a glacier seemed like the right place to catch a breeze! ;-)
DeleteNothing more spectacular than flying over the Alps.
ReplyDeleteGetting to or near the top of one of the Alpine peaks is not bad either. ;-)

ReplyDeleteHard to believe, but it was warm enough to hike with only a long-sleeved shirt!
DeleteStill, it was definitely not in the 90s. ;-)
Snow blindness here with your new pretty pale grey type.
ReplyDeleteCan't find nuttin much less coffee cups
