We visited Salzburg on out great motorcycle tour in '69 or '70. I remember really loving it and the nearby country side. But I best remember a visit to a salt mine in nearby (?) Hallein where we exited by sliding down a very steep rail.
Hope to see more from Salzburg! I am going there for the first time in July. I lived in Vienna for one year and have visited many times since and love reminiscing via your blog!
